Scenes from Easter.

T and I had a lovely weekend down at my family's cottage. (Unfortunately J had to stick around the farm since planting season is almost upon us.) It was exactly what we needed... relaxing, family, fun and chocolate.

T even visited the lake for the first time and loved it! (Maybe a little too much, she kept making a beeline for the shore and was not super impressed when I had to drag her away. I mean seriously T, that water is freaking freezing!)

Here are a few of my favourite pics from the weekend.

The last photo is of my mom's dog. He is a Newfoundland but he is (usually) terrified of water (super strange for the breed). For whatever reason, last weekend, he decided he wasn't anymore. So here he is, in his natural habitat, doing Newfie things. (Or running back to shore because he immediately regretted his decision to romp around in sub-acrtic waters.)
